plastic dinnerware vs.china dinnerware
Posted by Jacqueline on February 6, 2009
What is the negative impact of water use, detergent use and energy use in washing china? Is it a "greener" choice than using paper.plastic dinnerware?

You can recycle the plastic, and you can buy compostable paper dinnerware, both of which would be green choice. However, I believe that looking at waste generation alone is enough to encourage the use of china over disposable items. Grist.org has a few of these greener-choices debates. Check it out.
